Over 40 years of ammonia experience in one unit: with its Ammonia Compressor Packs (ACPs), the specialist for refrigeration and air conditioning technology BITZER is offering a particularly efficient and reliable solution for industrial refrigeration. BITZER ACPs are completely assembled and ready for operation in no time. Their technical design ensures minimum downtime and maintenance costs. The refrigerant used is ammonia, which BITZER has been working with for decades in the development of refrigeration and air conditioning components.

Each BITZER ACP features a cooling capacity of up to 3 MW and contains up to three compressors, a highly efficient three-stage oil separator and an oil-cooling circuit. Options, to the standard scope of delivery include, a pack-control unit, an economiser, as well as one or more frequency inverter.

Ammonia’s high energy efficiency and outstanding thermodynamic properties make it ideal for industrial refrigeration systems in areas such as food production, warehouses and ice rinks. As it has neither greenhouse nor ozone depletion potential (GWP and ODP 0), ammonia is the first choice as a refrigerant for responsible companies and is also absolutely future-proof.

ACP_Bochum Reliable refrigeration for slaughterhouse in Germany

Food production and storage are subject to especially high standards. ACP_UK Highly efficient ACPs for British pizza factory

Two ACPs with a combined cooling capacity of 1.4 MW have maintained the right temperature at a pizza factory in northern England since early 2019. The compact screw compressor unit covers the full cooling demand of the food production system, which measures approximately 5,600 square metres. In concrete terms, the ACP systems optimally temper the factory’s 2°C refrigerated storage facility, the –5°C spiral chiller and the –18°C freezer facility at all times.
