New BITZER Director Sales Germany and Switzerland

Sindelfingen, January 8, 2014. Andreas Riesch assumes responsibility for BITZER sales in Germany and Switzerland as of January 1, 2015.

Andreas Riesch has been working in technical sales for BITZER Germany and Switzerland since 2006. At the beginning of 2015, the 38-year-old engineer in environmental and supply technology will be taking over for Albrecht Höpfer, who has been BITZER Director Sales Germany and Switzerland since 2006 and has retired at the end of 2014. “My successor will ensure continuity in collaborations with our business partners,” says Albrecht Höpfer. “I’ve been working closely with Andreas Riesch in sales for many years now. He’s familiar with the responsibilities, the region and the team. I’m confident that he’ll be able to overcome all challenges.”

Andreas Riesch spent three years as a project manager with an international supermarket equipment supplier before switching to BITZER in 2006. “I’m looking forward to the new responsibilities, the exciting projects and the fact that I’ll be able to continue working with my current colleagues. We’re a great team, which of course makes a lot of things easier,” explains Riesch. “I wish Albrecht Höpfer all the best for the future and would like to thank him for everything we’ve achieved together.”

Albrecht Höpfer has been with BITZER since 1980 and has worked in areas including technical sales and customer consulting as well as spending 17 years in sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
