Environmental Technology Award: Prize for BITZER CSH2T for energy efficiency

At the 2025 Environmental Technology Award of the State of Baden-Württemberg, we received a prize in the energy efficiency category for our CSH2T compact screw compressor for high-temperature heat pumps. This award, in the form of a nomination, comes with prize money. We first presented the CSH2T series, optimised for use in high-temperature heat pumps, to the public at Chillventa 2024; orders from customers began in June 2025.

High-temperature heat pumps are a highly energy-efficient, forward-looking solution for reducing dependence on fossil fuels and promoting the decarbonisation of production processes. They can therefore contribute to both competitiveness and climate protection. Various research projects, several of which have already been successfully completed in recent years, form an important basis for efficient and reliable compressors – the heart of every high-temperature heat pump. We work closely with research institutions and industry partners to advance the development and optimisation of high-temperature heat pumps and to integrate the latest findings into our own product development.
