Reciprocating compressors

The tables below give an initial overview of which oil monitoring is available for which compressors. The actual choices when ordering the compressor are decisive.
The available devices can usually be found also in the BITZER SOFTWARE, after choosing the compressor, in the tab "Technical Data".
In which cases oil monitoring is necessary or recommended is partly also stated in the respective operating instructions of the compressor.

Semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors

Since 2024, most semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors have been equipped with the IQ Module CM-RC-02 as standard, or it is available as an option. The following variants result for oil monitoring:

CM-RC-02 in protection mode: oil monitoring as described in column "Oil monitoring without CM-RC resp. with CM-RC-02 in protection mode", the oil monitoring cannot be connected to the CM-RC-02.
CM-RC-02 in compressor operation mode: OLC/OLS resp. DP are possible (up to 2025 included in delivery, starting from 2026 also mounted and wired).
CM-RC-02 with extension board CM-IO-A: the oil level controller OLM-IQ is possible instead of OLC/OLS resp. DP (mounted and wired, if ordered with the compressor).
