Oil level monitoring OLS

OLS is an opto-electronic oil level monitoring, which is used for reciprocating compressors in conjunction with the CM-RC-02 compressor module. It consists of

• a prism unit (screwed into the bearing cover) and
• an opto-electronic unit (screwed into the prism unit, is integrated into the control of the system).

The oil level monitoring OLS replaces the OLC in the course of the introduction of the compressor module CM-RC-02. Replacing the OLC with the OLS is no problem, as the same prism unit is used - OLS and OLC differ mainly in the opto-electronic unit.

The CM-RC-02 module checks the correct installation and handles the control of level, monitoring of correct function, and timing. If the oil level is too low, the CM-RC-02 module will stop the compressor and give the corresponding alarm.
