Dismounting the old frequency inverter (FI)
Unscrewing the cover of the frequency inverter
Checking whether the phases L1, L2, L3 and the terminal strip X102 are de-energised
Disconnect and remove the cables at the power and control connections
Remove the 2 screwed cable glands 2 (M20)
Unscrewing the frequency inverter from the compressor
Remove the connector of the motor cable from the rear side of the FI
Remove the 4 fixing bolts from the compressor
Open the compressor terminal box
Loosen the screwed cable gland (M20-M25) on the terminal box
Unscrew all motor cables and the protective earth conductor in the terminal box
Interim result - compressor without frequency inverter
Mounting the new frequency inverter (FI)
Open the new frequency inverter
Unscrew the protective earth conductor from the cover of the FI
Mount the cable bushings
Apply the heat transfer paste
Screw the new frequency inverter to the compressor
Remove the sealing plug (M20-M25) from the cable bushing for the motor cable
Route all motor cables through the protective metal hose and screw it down to the FI
Mount the motor cables and the protective earth conductor to the terminal plate
Close the compressor terminal box
Connect the power connections and the protective earth conductor to the FI

compressor without control board for the use in
ECOSTAR
condensing units: connecting the control lines
VARISPEED
compressor with control board: screw metal rail and control board to the FI and connect the control lines
Mount the protective earth conductor to the cover of the FI
Close and tighten the FI cover
