Remove old shaft seal
Authorized staff
All work done on the products and the systems in which they are or will be installed may only be performed by qualified and authorised staff who have been trained and instructed in all work. The qualification and expert knowledge of the qualified staff must correspond to the local regulations and guidelines.
Remove oil drain hose
Remove sealing cover
- 8 mm hexagon spanner
- Oil drain pan
- Use a plastic hammer to loosen the sealing cover with light taps, if necessary
Remove old gasket from sealing cover
Loosen and remove screws from bushing
- 5 mm hexagon spanner
Remove bushing
Loosen and remove sealing screw with gasket ring
- First: Remove cover grille
- 10 mm Hexagon spanner
Turn first stud srcew into position
Loosen first stud screw at the rotating unit by at least 2 turns
- 3 mm hexagon spanner
Loosen second stud screw at the rotating unit by at least 2 turns
- 3 mm hexagon spanner
Loosen third stud screw at the rotating unit by at least 2 turns
- 3 mm hexagon spanner
Pull rotating unit from shaft
- Pulling device
NOTICE
Possible damage to the shaft surface! Do not tilt rotating unit when pulling out! Place pulling device into slot (see figure)!
