Mount electronic cooling unit valve group

Select new screwed nipple and gasket rings

Attach new screwed nipple with gasket rings

Mount new screwed nipple with torque spanner

• Spanner SW 30 / 30 mm socket spanner
• Torque spanner
• Tightening torque with black O-ring: 85 Nm
• Tightening torque with aluminium gasket ring: 130 Nm

Insert new little gasket ring into screwed nipple

Mount shut-off valve with gasket ring onto lower screwed nipple

Attach clip to evaporator pressure valve

• Screwdriver (e. g. SL 0,8x4,0)

Mount temperature sensor

• Screwdriver (z. B. SL 0,8x4,0)

Attach isolation to temperature sensor

Position cable of temperature sensor

Insert 2 black O-rings on back of flange

Screw in electronic cooling unit valve group by hand at upper and lower joints

Attach flange

• 6 mm hexagon spanner with ball head + extension

Mount flange with torque spanner

• 6 mm hexagon spanner with ball head + extension
• Torque spanner
• Tightening torque: 23 Nm

Mount electronic cooling unit valve group

• One joint at upper electronic expansion valve:
• Spanner SW 22 (counterhold with SW 19 spanner)
• Tightening torque: 50 Nm
• Two joints at lower shut-off valve:
• Spanner SW 30 (counterhold with SW 22 spanner)
• Tightening torque: 85Nm

Connect cable cores of temperature sensor to terminal CN8

• Screwdriver (e. g. SL 0,8x4,0)

Connect cable cores of pressure transmitter to terminal CN19

• Screwdriver (e. g. SL 0,8x4,0)

Connect cable of pressure transmitter

Mount coil of electronic expansion valve

Screw in cable of evaporator pressure valve

Connect cable cores of electronic evaporator pressure valve to terminal CN18

• Scrediver (e. g. SL 0,8x4,0)

Connect cable of coil of electronic expansion valve to terminal CN16

Final laying and securing of cables

Terminal assignment at the extension board after the cooling unit valve group has been mounted
