Demount old frequency inverter
Authorized staff
All work done on the products and the systems in which they are or will be installed may only be performed by qualified and authorised staff who have been trained and instructed in all work. The qualification and expert knowledge of the qualified staff must correspond to the local regulations and guidelines.
Mark terminals at control board
- Tape and pen to mark cables / terminal boards, or
- tale photo of terminal assignment
Remove terminals from control board
Label terminals at extension board
- Tape and pen to mark cables / terminal boards, or
- tale photo of terminal assignment
Remove terminals CN16, CN18 and CN19 from terminal board
Unplug cable of pressure transmitter
Remove cable cores of temperature sensor from terminal CN8
- Screwdriver (e. g. SL 0,8x4,0)
Remove cable cores from temperature sensor and terminal CN19 from extension board
Unscrew and remove cable of evaporator pressure valve and coil
Remove all demounted cables and components
Demount electronic expansion valve and evaporator pressure valve
- Upper joint at expansion valve:
- Spanner SW 22 (counterhold with spanner SW19)
- Lower joint at shut-off valve of evaporation pressure regulator:
- Spanner SW 30 (counterhold with spanner SW22)
Demount flange of the electronic cooling unit valve group
- 6 mm hexagon spanner with ball head+ extension
Remove terminals CN14, CN15 and CN8 from extension board
Unscrew/Unplug protective earth conductor and terminals CN2 .. CN9
Remove protective earth conductor and terminals CN2 .. CN9 as well as terminal CN17
Remove conductor rails
- Spanner SW 19
- Spanner SW 17
- 8 mm Hexagon spanner to counterhold
Remove plug of motor temperature sensors
Secure frequency inverter with lifting device
- Lifting device to lift/secure the frequency inverter
Demount frequency inverter
- Lifting device to lift/secure the frequency inverter
- Hexagon spanner 6 mm with extension
Lift and remove frequency inverter (FI)
- Lifting device to lift/secure the frequency inverter
Information
Lift the frequency inverter slowly. Press firmly against lower part of housing.
