For single compressor systems, a thermostatic expansion valve can be applied. Standard superheat setting should be 10 K.
In the BITZER Software, relevant design parameters such as mass flow rate and pressure difference can be obtained (Performance data).
Install a solenoid valve upstream of the expansion valve to activate or deactivate the ECO operation.
Install a sight glass to verify bubble-free liquid refrigerant at the inlet of the expansion valve.
The thermostatic expansion valve should have a maximum operation pressure (MOP) filling in order to avoid excessive pressure in the ECO suction gas line.
