Introduction
BITZER ORBIT scroll compressors have been developed especially for air conditioning and heat pumps. They are characterized by high efficiency, smooth operation and reliability. For the typical seasonal operation mode of A/C applications – primarily in part load operation – special focus is on low energy consumption even at reduced condensing temperatures. Compressor design has been optimized for low sound emissions, achieving one of the lowest levels in its class. Compressor geometry with regard to fitting places of installation and mounting configuration enables easy substitution. The compressors can be installed in compounds of 2 or 3 compressors for further capacity range and maximum part load efficiency, e.g. with the BITZER Advanced Header Technology (BAHT). They can be operated at variable speed (e.g. with external frequency inverter) and are suitable for A1, A2L and A3 refrigerants (see BITZER Software).
