Retrofit of R404A/R507A to R448A/R449A
The conversion of systems which are operated with R404A or R507A is necessary, because these two refrigerants will become scarce in the EU. Due to the requirements of EU F-Gas Regulation, especially the gradual phase down, most refrigerants with high GWP will have to be removed from the market (Timing for prohibitions).
WARNINGWith respect to the applicable safety regulations, existing systems with R404A/R507A can only be converted to non-flammable refrigerants of the safety class A1.
