High-temperature heat pumps for industrial applications
CLAUGER offers a comprehensive range of heat pump solutions with various capacities, utilising multiple low-GWP or natural refrigerants to produce water temperatures close to +90°C for industrial applications. These solutions include compact screw compressors of the CSH2T (for quoted projects) or CS PRO series from BITZER. Depending on the application – whether in the food industry, chemical or pharmaceutical processes – different refrigerants (A1, A2L, A3) are considered to ensure optimal performance.
The heat pumps feature a water-to-water design with a capacity ranging from 200 to 800 kW, utilising multiple circuits and/or units. This design offers benefits such as easy maintenance, compactness and adaptability in machinery rooms, among other aspects.
CLAUGER’s heat pumps are equipped with a BITZER CSH (2T-P) compressor that includes a VARIPACK frequency inverter. The SQD evaporator uses a water heat source, with temperatures available between +20°C and +30°C, depending on the process. Additionally, the system offers remote access through the BITZER Digital Network (BDN) and protection module SE-i1, which includes a full sensor kit to monitor the operating envelope of each compressor and inverter.
