InnoTrans 2022: BITZER launches SPEEDLITE ELV52 and provides new opportunities for air conditioning systems

BITZER, the refrigeration and air conditioning specialist, will be showcasing sustainable solutions developed specifically for challenges in the bus and rail sector at the InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin in Hall 3.1, Stand 680, from 20 to 23 September. The company will be presenting its SPEEDLITE ELV52 scroll compressor, which was specially developed for electric buses and rail vehicles. As the application is fitted with the low-GWP refrigerant R513A and is therefore A2L-ready, it can be converted to use the HFO refrigerant R1234ze, which has a GWP of less than 6, at any time – a solution that is both sustainable and extremely cost effective.

The refrigerants concerned, R454B, R452B and R32 have a low global warming potential (GWP) and have only low flammability ratings.

29.06.2016The EU Ecodesign Regulation 2015/1095 for condensing units and process chillers for medium and low temperature application will go into effect in July 1, 2016, while the MEPS requirements (= Minimum Energy Performance Standards) will again be intensified significantly in July 2018.
BITZER has already implemented the necessary measures at an early stage in order to comply with or even exceed the efficiency criteria. For deliveries from the effective date, the (CE) Declaration of Conformity as well as supplementary documents for all product series will be available for download.

Au terme d’un vaste programme de qualification, BITZER, spécialiste des compresseurs frigorifiques, vient de valider les fluides frigorigènes HFO R1234yf et R1234ze(E) pour ses compresseurs à vis de séries CSH et CSW. Ces deux fluides de substitution au R134a témoignent d’un pouvoir de réchauffement global (GWP, de l’anglais Global Warming Potential) inférieur à 10, tandis que celui du R134a se situe autour de 1400. Les mélanges HFO/HFC R513A et R450A présentant chacun un GWP de 600 environ ont également été validés pour les séries CSH et CSW. Today, BITZER condensing units already meet the even stricter requirements which will apply from 2018, thus offering certainty when planning both short and long term projects.

OS.A95: New Compressor for Ammonia
