Switch off the compressor on which work is being carried out, if necessary the entire system, and secure it against being switched on again!

Depressurize the compressor!
Wear safety goggles!
- Switch off the compressor which is being worked on, or the entire system, if necessary, and secure from being switched on again!
- Let the compressor cool down.
- Close valves (suction gas side, discharge gas side, Economiser, refrigerant injection, oil supply).
- Depressurize compressor.
- Remove motor from coupling housing. Either demount motor completely, or pull motor off the compressor so far that the shaft seal becomes accessible for maintenance work.
- If necessary, also disassemble the coupling housing.
- Remove coupling half and parallel key from compressor shaft.
