Reading out status and error messages: Modbus and LED
The oil level switch state can be read out from the system controller via Modbus. This is a digital input parameter. As an alternative, the signal can also be taken directly from terminals 3 and 4 on terminal strip CN17 which is part of the extension board. (see Schematic wiring diagrams).
Output signal:
- 24 V: The oil level is below the oil level switch
- 0 V: The oil level is too high (above the oil level switch)
Status and error messages of the LED
- LED does not light: Oil level is o. k., it is below the sensor.
- LED lights: Oil level is too high, it is above the sensor.
- LED blinks: Failure within the sensor. Voltage supply is too low or opto-electronic unit installed incorrectly.
