Control with compressor module CM-RC-02
The compressor module automatically activates the solenoid valves for capacity control and adjusts the compressor capacity virtually steplessly in line with the set point of the superior system controller. From firmware version 2.2.36.0 onwards, the CM-RC-02 can alternatively address a VARIPACK frequency inverter – depending on the compressor, even the combination CR + FI is possible.
The superior system controller transmits the capacity requirement either via Modbus to CN1 or as an analogue signal to CN23. Analogue signals with set point characteristics Min .. Max or 0 .. Max are possible. A simple on/off signal can also be applied to CN23, which switches the capacity control on and off using an auxiliary relay. The minimum possible capacity depends on the compressor configuration (Control concepts and activation of the solenoid valves).
The CM-RC-02 can also be operated in "system control mode" with extension board CM-IO-B or CM-IO-C. This allows it to control simple systems with one compressor, e.g. a condensing unit.
- With extension board CM-IO-B, control based on evaporation temperature is possible.
- With extension board CM-IO-C, control based on cold room temperature is possible.
