Quick guide ECOLITE Controller

This document may only be used in addition to the Operating Instructions for ECOLITE condensing units (KB-206)! Please read those Instructions before using this Quick Guide. They also include specific information on parameters, factory settings, Modbus connection etc.

Function keys and display

The ECOLITE controller has 4 function keys for operation and diagnostics as well as a colour display:

Enter password

  1. Press F2 + F4 simultaneously ⇒ PAr
  2. Press F1 ⇒ PASS
  3. Press F4 ⇒ 0
  4. Use F1/F3 for choosing 2 (= code for installer)
  5. Press F4 to confirm
  6. Press F2 one or several times to return to main menu

Set parameters

  1. Press F2 + F4 simultaneously ⇒ PAr
  2. Press F4 ⇒ CnF
  3. Use F1/F3 for choosing:
    • CnF
    • CPr
    • FAn
    • COr

For each of these menu items, press F4 to confirm and again use F1/F3 for choosing the parameters of each submenu (see below).

Press F4 to confirm each of these settings. Press F2 one or several times to return to main menu.

ECM

CRII configuration

0 = No CRII
1 = 2-cylinder compressor with CRII
2 = 4-cylinder compressor with 1 x CRII
3 = 4-cylinder compressor with 2 x CRII

OSP

Operation mode

2 = Room temperature control (also set SP1 at 10 K below SP4, see below!)
4 = Evaporating temperature control (see SP1 below!)

SMU

Unit system

0 = SI (bar / °C)
1 = Imperial (PSI / °F)

UCS

User access code

0 .. 255

Pin

A2L license code

0 .. 9999

If CnF -> Pin displays "0" (zero), no code or an incorrect code were entered.
If CnF -> Pin displays a four-digit number "XXXX", the code is correct.
Note: After entering the code, please press F4 and hold for some seconds.
Check if the code was accepted by pressing F4 again. If the code is accepted, A2L refrigerants are released.

CPr: Settings for compressor and CRII

SP1

Set point evaporating temperature (°C)

OS1

2nd set point evaporating temperature (°C)
(Difference to set point SP1)

COr: Settings for room temperature control

Set point room temperature (°C)

Start release

  1. Press F4 ⇒ init
  2. Press F4 ⇒ OnOF
  3. Press F4 ⇒ OFF
  4. Press F1 ⇒ On or F3 ⇒ OFF
  5. Press F4 to confirm
  6. Press F2 one or several times to return to main menu

Set clock

  1. Press F4 ⇒ init
  2. Press 2 times F3 ⇒ CLOC
  3. Press F4 ⇒ HOUr
  4. Use F1/F3 for choosing:
