EN/UL 60730

• Devices conforming to EN/UL60730 must be additionally protected against cable short-circuits in the sensor cable, i.e. they must be protected against too low resistance. A short-circuit in the temperature control circuit is identified as a fault which causes the compressor protection device to lock out immediately.
• Compliance with EN/UL 60730 is mandatory for compressor approval according to UL 60335-2-34 (end use environment).
