Basic functions and terms

The standard scope of delivery of a BITZER compressor includes a compressor protection device, which is either pre-installed in the compressor's terminal box or has to be installed externally, e.g. in the system's switch cabinet.

Electrical safety of the compressor according to EN12693 is ensured with all compressor protection devices assigned from BITZER. Any other electrical protection must be evaluated by the user for each individual case.
