Protection functions and properties:

• Temperature monitoring
• The device locks out immediately when the preset motor winding temperature, discharge gas temperature or oil temperature is exceeded.
• Monitoring of rotation direction, phase sequence and phase failure
• The rotation direction is monitored within the first 5 seconds after compressor start (operating recognition). If the compressor starts with the wrong rotation direction during this time span, the protection device locks out immediately.
• In the event of a phase failure within the first 5 seconds after compressor start, the relay contact in the safety chain opens immediately and closes again after 6 minutes.
  If a phase failure occurs 3 times within 18 minutes or in case of 10 phase failures within 24 hours, the protection device locks out immediately.
• Single phase failure and cable short-circuit monitoring

• Replaces SE-E1 and SE-E3.
• The previous models are fully exchangeable, with the same functionality and terminal assignment. Dimensions and their integration into the control are also identical.
• Suitable for high power voltages between 200 .. 690 V.
• Complies with EN/UL 60730.
