Pressure level

When looking at refrigerants, refrigeration technicians and engineers ask for the pressure levels, as the first thing. This basically determines, whether components are usable for operation and additionally it gives an idea of the refrigeration capacity per pumped volume flow – thus having influence on the size of components and piping.

Starting with the evaporating and condensing temperature values necessary for transferring the heat flows, the corresponding values for the pressure can be read from the vapour pressure curve. The vapour pressure values can a.o. also be read from the BITZER RefRuler App for many refrigerants.
