40 years of screw compressors at BITZER

In 1983, IBM introduced the XT personal computer, Motorola launched the first mobile phone, Microsoft announced Windows 1.0, and the first BITZER screw compressors made the rounds at trade fairs. Forty years later, it would be just about impossible to imagine refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump technology without BITZER screw compressors. Two men who have been there since the very beginning explain how it all came about.
